A Norwegian founded 25.000 MT HOG Atlantic Salmon Ras facility in Homestead, Florida USA

The project is divided into 2 phases, 1^st phase 8000 MT and 1^st+ 2^nd 25000 MT.

AS is the first pioneer within industrial sized Land Based RAS for grow-out Atlantic salmon and had as such, to face all unforeseen challenges that this industry was bound to meet.

Technology supplier was Billund Akva, supplying a standard grow out RAS

Ole and David performed an investigation of the company to help the new management in a turnaround process.

Our role was to identify the company’s strengths, weaknesses and identify bottlenecks that limits the company’s aim to reach its full production potential as planned.

Furthermore, we helped in the strategic work on where Atlantic Sapphire should place its focus.

At the end of our scope of work, we presented a report with ideas for suggested Operational procedures for optimization including suggested upgrade of specific technical capacities and suggested design optimization to improve the production capacity.
